First and foremost
Hello! If you’re reading this, you’ve found my attempt at a blog, so welcome to my first post! I’m sure it will get updated far too infrequently, but right now my hyperfixation and pride over what I’ve built here is strong, so we’ll see. Believe it or not, I went to journalism school and used to really enjoy writing. My hope for this space is to share a little bit more of myself as a human - not just a place for my photography to live. I want to try to write about a variety of things: stories about life on the road, poker stories, thoughts from the brain of a 30-year old girl that probably three or less people care about.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way! I want to test out how many people actually clicked around and read things. I’m going to be giving away THREE one hour outdoor photo sessions for FREE. These can be used for any type of session except for weddings. Families, seniors, branding, you name it, let’s do it. If you want to upgrade to an indoor studio session, all I ask is that you pay the studio rental usage fee. (I’ll set it up.) This is good for ANYONE, ANYWHERE, as long as I’m in your city. You already know that I travel a lot, so it’s pretty likely we will cross paths in your city or somewehere near it at some point. So, how do you win? I want to do TWO sessions from my Facebook account and ONE from Instagram. To win one of the FACEBOOK sessions, just be one of the first two people to DM me on there with the codeword “fancyboy.” That’s it. To win the solo free Instagram session, I have hidden a codeword in one of the captions on one of my posts. Be the first person to message me the codeword on there, and it’s yours. It’s like a scavenger hunt! You have to be following me to qualify, sorry I have to shill my own brand ;)
If you win one of the three sessions, they’re good for a year from today (May 2027) and can be redeemed or passed along to someone else at any time. By accepting the session, you also agree to allow your face to be posted on this site in my portfolio. Dang, that’s a lot of rules.
